MalaCards: Angiodysplasia, also known as angiodysplasia of stomach and duodenum with hemorrhage, is related to von willebrand's disease and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. An important gene associated with Angiodysplasia is ACVRL1 (activin A receptor type II-like 1), and among its related pathways are Id Signaling Pathway and TGF Beta Signaling Pathway. The compounds gelofusine and taurodeoxycholate have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include colon, small intestine and liver, and related mouse phenotypes are digestive/alimentary and respiratory system.

Disease Ontology:9 A vascular disease that is characterized as a small vascular malformation of the gut.
