MalaCards: Aphthous Stomatitis, also known as aphthous ulceration, is related to behcet's disease and celiac disease. An important gene associated with Aphthous Stomatitis is TNF (tumor necrosis factor), and among its related pathways are HTLV-I infection and Malaria. The drug thalidomide and the compounds indomethacin and endotoxin have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include heart, tonsil and monocytes, and related mouse phenotypes are skeleton and reproductive system.
