Disease Ontology:9 A bacterial pneumonia which is an acute pulmonary inflammatory response that develops after the inhalation of colonized oropharyngeal material containing bacteria. it is seen in individuals with dysphagia and gastric dysmotility. the disease has symptom tachypnea and has symptom cough.

MalaCards: Aspiration Pneumonia, also known as pneumonia aspiration, is related to pneumonia and bacteremia, and has symptoms including tachypneaand cough. An important gene associated with Aspiration Pneumonia is ELANE (elastase, neutrophil expressed), and among its related pathways are Selected targets of C EBPbeta and Peptide ligand-binding receptors. The compounds tenidap and sivelestat sodium hydrate have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include colon, lung and testes, and related mouse phenotype immune system.
