Wikipedia:64 Epicondylitis refers to an inflammation of an epicondyle. more...

MalaCards: Epicondylitis, also known as lateral epicondylitis, is related to chronic pain and tendinopathy. An important gene associated with Epicondylitis is CHAT (choline O-acetyltransferase), and among its related pathways are Sympathetic Nerve Pathway (Pre- and Post- Ganglionic Junction) and Regulation of thyroid hormone activity. The compounds ibotenic acid and homovanillic acid have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include epicondyle, whole blood and skin.

Disease Ontology:8 A bone inflammation disease that results in inflammation located in epicondyle.
