MalaCards based summary : Food Allergy, also known as food hypersensitivity, is related to apple allergy and asthma. An important gene associated with Food Allergy is RNASE3 (Ribonuclease A Family Member 3), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Allograft rejection and Immune response Fc epsilon RI pathway. The drugs Budesonide and Histamine have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include testes, skin and liver, and related phenotypes are endocrine/exocrine gland and digestive/alimentary

Disease Ontology : 12 A hypersensitivity reaction type I disease that is an abnormal response to a food, triggered by the body's immune system.
