Wikipedia:66 Hypercalcaemia (British English) or hypercalcemia (American English) is an elevated calcium (Ca2+) level... more...

MalaCards: Hypercalcemia, also known as hypercalcinemia, is related to hyperparathyroidism and primary hyperparathyroidism. An important gene associated with Hypercalcemia is CASR (calcium-sensing receptor), and among its related pathways are Endocrine and other factor-regulated calcium reabsorption and superpathway of cholesterol biosynthesis. The drugs calcitonin and edetic acid, disodium salt and the compounds 22-oxacalcitriol and pamidronate have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include bone, kidney and lung, and related mouse phenotypes are other and craniofacial.
