Wikipedia:63 A neuroma /njuːˈroʊmə/ (plural: neuromata or neuromas) is a growth or tumor of nerve tissue.... more...

MalaCards: Neuroma, also known as neuroma nos, is related to acoustic neuroma and neurofibromatosis. An important gene associated with Neuroma is NF2 (neurofibromin 2 (merlin)), and among its related pathways are DNA Damage Recognition in GG-NER and Base-Excision Repair, AP Site Formation. The compounds phosphodiester and polynucleotide have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include brain, bone and breast, and related mouse phenotypes are tumorigenesis and integument.
