Wikipedia:66 Spondylosis is a term referring to degenerative osteoarthritis of the joints between the center of the... more...

MalaCards: Spondylosis, also known as spondylogenic compression of thoracic spinal cord, is related to spondylolisthesis and atherosclerosis. An important gene associated with Spondylosis is TSSK4 (testis-specific serine kinase 4), and among its related pathways are Development Hedgehog and PTH signaling pathways in bone and cartilage development and Vitamin D synthesis. The compounds doxercalciferol and paricalcitol have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include vertebral column, spinal cord and bone, and related mouse phenotypes are limbs/digits/tail and endocrine/exocrine gland.

Disease Ontology:9 An bone structure disease that involves degeneration between vertebra located in vertebral column.
