NINDS:43 Sydenham chorea (SD) is a neurological disorder of childhood resulting from infection via (GABHS), the bacterium that causes rheumatic fever.

MalaCards: Sydenham's Chorea, also known as sydenham chorea, is related to brain disease and chorea minor. An important gene associated with Sydenham's Chorea is CXCL10 (chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 10), and among its related pathways are CXCR3-mediated signaling events and Chemokine receptors bind chemokines. The compounds forskolin and ly294002 have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include heart.
