MalaCards: Tetraploidy, also known as tetraploidy syndrome, is related to myeloid leukemia and leukemia, and has symptoms including radial club hand, beaked nose and cleft palate without cleft lip/submucosal cleft palate/bifid uvula. An important gene associated with Tetraploidy is GFI1 (growth factor independent 1 transcription repressor), and among its related pathways are superoxide radicals degradation and NGF Pathway. The compounds dicoumarol and peroxynitrite have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include myeloid, colon and lung, and related mouse phenotypes are endocrine/exocrine gland and hearing/vestibular/ear.
