Wikipedia:65 Venous insufficiency can refer to: more...

MalaCards: Venous Insufficiency, also known as peripheral venous insufficiency, is related to chronic venous insufficiency and vasculitis. An important gene associated with Venous Insufficiency is ITGA4 (integrin, alpha 4 (antigen CD49D, alpha 4 subunit of VLA-4 receptor)), and among its related pathways are Integrin cell surface interactions and Immunoregulatory interactions between a Lymphoid and a non-Lymphoid cell. The drugs gotu kola extract and gotu kola liquid and the compounds slex and proadifen have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include skin, endothelial and brain.

Disease Ontology:8 A vein disease that is characterized by impaired flow of blood through the veins.
